Working At ACX Hub : Jl’s Story - ACX Outsourcing HUB

If you’ve ever worked in a job with a bad culture, you know how much it can affect your daily life.

Workplace stress not only affects efficiency but also one’s personal life and state of mind. Few people enjoy going to work when they are surrounded by a negative work environment. Workplace worry and stress can become unbearable in situations like these.

That’s why it’s important to research the company’s ethos before sending in your resume. Going through the motions of an interview only to realize that the company culture isn’t a good fit for you is one of the most disheartening experiences a person can have.

JL Galero, our resident copywriter, has written a short post. He discusses his first week on the job and explains what sets ACX Outsourcing Hub apart from other companies.

Working at ACX Hub: Reflections on My First Week

I wrapped up my second week here at ACX Outsourcing Hub, and to say that it was awesome and incredible would be an understatement.

Honestly, it has had a profound effect on me, and here’s why:

My first week was HR stuff – onboarding and meeting my team members, which by the way was very straightforward and seamless. It went down without a hitch. I didn’t find it difficult or stressful. The friendly greeting and nice atmosphere put me at ease and gave me high hopes for my future with the organization.

When you first start working for any firm, one of the first things that cross your mind is the culture, the level of acceptance from your team, and the atmosphere, particularly when you meet your coworkers in person or, in my case, virtually.

The Culture

The employee experience is what drives the customer experience, and that is why ACX is able to build such a strong rapport with its partner clients. It provides the same high-quality service to its employees that it does to its clients.

There is free food everywhere and trust me, they’re abundant. By providing one of the most vital components to keep the employees going, ACX shows how much they value their employees.

Team Acceptance

Will I be a good fit for my team? Will my character be well-received? Do I need to pretend to be someone else, or will they accept me for who I really am? Will upper management see my worth, or will they form preconceived notions about me based on how I look or what I say?

All appear to be well thus far. The management has assured me of the company’s commitment to diversity of all kinds, and my own observations confirm that this is the case. Unlike any other business, this one is truly unique.

Environment

The workplace provides the employee with verbal validations regarding how well he or she has been performing in their area of work. It maintains high esteem for perfection without ever being overly demanding of its subjects.

The workplace fosters growth, which enables individuals to gain wisdom through experience and develop both personally and professionally as they progress through their careers.

Everyone treated me as if I were already a member of the team when I arrived. They made it seem like I was more than simply a piece of the puzzle to fill in a certain gap by making me feel like I belonged there.

It became abundantly clear to me over the course of the past week, as I got to know more about my team and met others in ACX, that I am surrounded by some of the most talented, intellectual, hard-working, and most importantly, empathetic human beings I’ve met in a very long time. This is especially true because I’ve been meeting new people for the past few weeks.

Everyone was open to the possibility of developing themselves further and learning new things about themselves. We honed in on both our personal and professional aspirations.

I look forward to more years to come with ACX Outsourcing Hub.
